This is a fabulous opportunity to join a thriving further education organisation with exciting growth and quality ambitions. Burton and South Derbyshire College are seeking a dynamic and learner-focused Distance Learning Team Leader to lead and manage a high-performing online delivery team.

This is a key role responsible for the day-to-day management of distance learning provision, ensuring a high-quality, compliant and engaging learner experience while driving strong performance against key targets. You will lead, coach and develop a team of assessors, monitor performance and use data-driven insight to improve retention, achievement and progression outcomes. Working collaboratively across curriculum, quality and support teams, you will ensure all programmes meet quality assurance, funding and regulatory requirements.

The successful candidate will be a confident and organised leader with strong communication skills, experience of remote or online delivery and the ability to analyse performance data to drive continuous improvement. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about creating an outstanding distance learning experience, developing others and delivering measurable impact across a growing digital provision.
