Course Leader – Construction Professional Studies Full time: 37 hours per week, permanent Location: Stephen Burke Construction Academy, Swadlincote Salary: Up to £34,948 pro rata PLUS £4,500 \’Golden Hello\’ staged over 3 years PLUS bursary up to £1,800 per year (qualification level dependent) PLUS up to £5,000 professional development bursary for formal education and training qualifications including: Level 3-5 Education & Teaching Level 3 TAQA Assessor Qualification Level 4 TAQA Internal Quality Assurance Qualification Who are we looking for? Burton and South Derbyshire College is seeking an inspiring and experienced Course Leader for Construction Professional Studies to lead and develop our Construction Higher Technical Qualifications programmes at Level 4. About the role: As Course Leader, you will oversee the delivery, coordination, and development of the HNC Construction Management course, ensuring students gain essential technical and professional skills for the construction industry. You will teach modules and provide academic leadership. A friendly, effective communicator, you\’ll be committed to delivering an excellent student experience and enriching your teaching with industry experience. The ideal candidate will have broad knowledge of Construction and confidence teaching undergraduate students at Level 4. The successful candidate will have industry experience and a proven record of inspirational teaching at HE level, with a commitment to teaching and learning excellence. You will be based at The Stephen Burke Construction Academy, responsible for programmes including Higher Nationals (HTQs) and professional qualifications.
