Supported Internship Job Coach Part time, Term time, 22.2 hours per week, 36 weeks per year £13,028 per annum (£27,142 pro rata) Burton Town Centre Campus & Conkers (Swadlincote) Who are we looking for?

Burton and South Derbyshire College is seeking to appoint a Job Coach to facilitate our Supported Interns in their academic learning and in the acquisition of employability skills, with specific responsibility for class management at our local host business, Conkers visitor centre.

Occasional work at our other host business sites may also be required.

The successful candidate will have experience of supporting learners with a wide range of support and learning needs, always ensuring an innovative and inclusive approach.

A good knowledge of SEND is essential along with strengths in communication, differentiation, and behaviour management.

The role will require frequent interaction and site visits with clients and our external employers and good administrative skills will be needed.

A positive ?can do' attitude is required, coupled with a friendly and approachable nature.

The position requires the successful candidate to be able to prioritise workloads and respond flexibly as situations demand.

We will need you to be self-motivated with a dedication to student achievement.

Applicants should be qualified to, or willing to work towards, Level 2 English and Maths.
