Burton Addiction and O'Connor Centres (BAC) is an award-winning organisation which offers support to individuals with drug and alcohol problems in a range of settings including detoxification and residential rehabilitation, recovery housing, social enterprises and community-based therapeutic services. We are looking for an experienced, dedicated Nurse - RGN/MNH to join our team, working on a rota of days and nights, who will ensure the highest standards of clinical care are delivered to our residents. We will provide opportunities to use a variety of skills in a unique environment where no two days are the same and the biggest reward is making a positive difference in people’s lives.

Responsibilities:

  • Working with a team of experienced support workers, NMPs and other nursing staff
  • Assessing residents’ health and wellbeing needs
  • Developing your own knowledge and skills and that of others
  • Promoting best practice in health, safety and security
  • Assisting in maintaining and developing services
  • Using your skills to support residents with a range of complex needs and dependency levels
  • Ensuring the ongoing safety of residents through systematic assessment, monitoring and review processes

Qualifications:

  • Active NMC Registration (PIN)
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Experience in clinical practice in a suitable setting
  • Ability to write comprehensive care plans
