As a Senior Director in our Data & Intelligence, you’ll be at the forefront of this transformation, leading our data and AI capabilities across the EMEA region.

Reporting to the EMEA Chief Data & Intelligence Officer, you’ll drive the growth of Burson’s data and intelligence offerings, working with senior leaders and client teams to deliver tailored, measurable solutions. From leveraging our proprietary AI suite (Sonar, Decipher, KYO, Flight School, and the Fount) to shaping industry-leading thought leadership, you’ll be instrumental in shaping how data transforms the communications landscape.

What You’ll Do:

  • Growth Leadership: Identify and convert opportunities to expand Burson’s data and AI offerings across EMEA. Develop and implement regional growth strategies.
  • Client Engagement: Build trusted relationships with key stakeholders, leading client workshops and presentations to showcase the value of data-driven decision-making.
  • Team Enablement: Empower Burson teams with the knowledge and tools to maximize the impact of data and AI. Develop training and resources to upskill colleagues.
  • Product Innovation: Collaborate with product teams to refine and develop innovative AI and data solutions tailored to emerging client needs.
  • Thought Leadership: Establish Burson as a leader in data and AI by contributing to industry publications, speaking at conferences, and shaping the conversation on data-driven PR.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Chief Data & Intelligence Officer and senior leaders to align regional and global data strategies.
  • Data Ethics: Champion responsible data practices, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and Burson’s high ethical standards.

  • Proven experience in data and intelligence, with a strong track record of driving growth and delivering client value.
  • Deep understanding of the communications industry and the role of data and AI in PR and strategic communications.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders.
  • A history of building and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Experience in leading and developing teams.
  • Knowledge of social, press, and web analytics tools, as well as research methodologies.
