More About The Role
We’re hiring a People Partner, a mid-level role that sits at the intersection of our UK Inclusion & People team. This role will lean more heavily toward driving our Inclusion & Impact agenda within the UK business, with recruitment responsibilities dependent on business needs.
This is a unique opportunity for a purpose-driven and people-focused individual to help shape the culture of one of the most exciting and fast-evolving agencies in the UK.
You’ll work closely with our Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), leadership teams, global inclusion network and external partners – bringing energy, structure and direction to our inclusion work. When required you will also support our hiring teams to attract and engage outstanding talent, helping us grow with intention and impact.
You’ll report into the UK Head of Inclusion & Impact, working collaboratively with a wide network of stakeholders across Burson UK and beyond.
What You\’ll Do
- Coordinate and support UK ERGs – acting as a strategic partner, providing administrative and logistical support, and helping to align activities with broader business priorities.
- Deliver our Inclusion & Impact calendar – supporting the planning, production, and delivery of education and awareness-raising events, content and campaigns throughout the year.
- Manage external relationships – building and nurturing partnerships with organisations aligned with our inclusion goals, from speaker bureaus and diverse talent platforms to grassroots and industry initiatives.
- Track progress and impact – work closely with the UK Inclusion lead, People team and wider business functions to monitor KPIs, gather feedback and share results.
- Support internal communications – helping to shape and share Inclusion & Impact content for employee updates, campaigns, and leadership communications.
- Contribute to UK and regional Inclusion & Impact activations– connecting with Burson’s EMEA and global Inclusion networks and contributing to multi-market projects where relevant.
- Manage end-to-end hiring for open roles across Burson UK – from briefing to offer.
Experience That Contributes To Success
- Experience in inclusion, culture or people roles, ideally in a creative, communications or professional services environment.
- Passionate about inclusion, equity and culture – with a strong understanding of how systemic change happens in organisations and the ability to connect daily actions to long-term impact.
- Experience working with or supporting employee communities, ERGs or culture programmes, and an ability to bring structure, clarity and alignment to grassroots initiatives.
- Excellent organisational and project management skills – able to plan and deliver multiple priorities at once.
- Strong relationship-building skills – with confidence to engage and influence colleagues at all levels
- Hands-on experience in recruitment, either in-house or at an agency.
- Skilled in sourcing and attracting talent, writing job ads, and managing hiring processes with consistency.
- Knowledge of tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter and experience with an ATS
