As an Account Executive, you'll be a vital part of our team, developing your skills in communication, client service, and project management. You will work closely with senior team members to support dayâtoâday activities and contribute to successful client campaigns.
Spotifyâ Burson has been on a journey with Spotify for over 10 years. As the Swedish based DSP has moved from a streaming platform dedicated to music, to a true entertainment experience, this role will be part of the Spotify UK team with a focus on building relationships and securing output with publishers in the music, culture and entertainment space.
Activision Blizzardâ Activision Blizzard is the world's leading video game publisher, with legendary franchises including Call of Duty, World of Warcraft, Diablo and Overwatch. Burson is the retained UK and EMEA communication agency with a remit covering press, influencer and creator and ambassador work, as well as events. This role will be part of the UK team with a focus on newsroom activities. You will need to be someone who lives for media relations, with a focus on staying close to both core gaming and mainstream media to find opportunities for our games.
What You'll Do
- Assist the team on dayâtoâday communication tasks, including media relations and digital content creation.
- Research and write interactive press releases, blogs and reports to a high standard in client format and help organise press briefings, conferences and similar events for clients.
- Support content creation, demonstrating an understanding of the differences in style, tone and content.
- Support the team and have a good understanding of the importance of client service; ensure quality control, quality of writing, meeting deadlines, excellent project management and an understanding of the client's industry and company.
- Attend and contribute ideas in internal brainstorms across the agency.
- Show strong interâpersonal communication skills, ensuring clear and concise interactions with team members and clients.
- Work collaboratively as part of a dynamic team, proactively seeking guidance and support from colleagues.
- Stay on top of industry news and trends in your sector, sharing insights with teams and clients.
