About the Team
The Burson Sport, Brand & Entertainment team works with some of the world’s most ambitious consumer brands, helping them earn attention, build cultural relevance and drive conversation across markets. This role will sit across a varied client portfolio including TK Maxx Hub, SharkNinja and Danone, supporting work that spans brand storytelling, influence, earned media and multi‑market communications. The team is united by a belief in the power of culture, creativity and influence to shape how people discover, engage with and talk about brands. Across fashion and retail, lifestyle and technology, and food and drink, the team develops work that is insight‑led, locally relevant and capable of travelling across multiple markets.
The Role
We are looking for an ambitious, enthusiastic Account Director to join the Sports, Brand & Entertainment team and work across a portfolio of major consumer clients: TK Maxx Hub, SharkNinja UK and EMEA Hub Co‑ordination, and Danone Global. The role requires someone with strong multi‑market experience, a confident understanding of earned and influence, and the ability to bring fresh energy, strategic thinking and operational rigour to a fast‑moving client portfolio. The role will involve leading day‑to‑day client relationships, shaping earned and influencer‑led activity, and managing hub responsibilities including market coordination, toolkit development, content planning and campaign roll‑out. The right candidate will bring strong media and creator insight, confidence advising senior clients, and excellent organisational skills to help deliver consistent, culturally relevant work across multiple markets.
What You'll Do

- Create Assets: Develop clear, engaging toolkits, assets and content that support both global hub requirements and local market activation.
- Market Liaison: Act as a central hub to coordinate, advise and align multiple markets, ensuring campaigns are delivered consistently while allowing for local nuance.
- Strategy & Creativity: Write strategic plans and champion bold, creative work.
- Data‑Driven Storytelling: Use data and insights to build and drive effective campaigns.
- Campaign Coordination: Oversee the planning and delivery of integrated earned, influencer and activation programmes across global, regional and local teams.
- Leverage Technology: Expertly integrate a broad range of bespoke WPP HAI tools to optimise day‑to‑day efficiency and outputs.
