The Sports & Entertainment team at Burson is a new global practice dedicated to unlocking the power of fandom for brands. We operate with global expertise combined with local knowledge and best‑in‑class activation. This role will sit in our London centre of excellence, a team of fifty combined Sports and Entertainment specialists. It is home to some of the world’s best‑loved sports and entertainment brands including adidas, Activision Blizzard, Gillette and Spotify. We’re building a vibrant and diverse team, delivering incredible work for amazing brands at the forefront of the sport and entertainment space.

What You’ll Do

  • Bring passion for entertainment (music and gaming) and sport culture – connecting dots with client activity to make our work culturally relevant
  • Deliver excellent client service
  • Assist with essential account management for client and team projects
  • Manage and coach junior team members, while reporting up to senior team members
  • Support across Global and UK activation workstreams
  • Draft strong written materials (messaging, media tools and pitches)
  • Develop media strategies, build relationships with media and land coverage for clients

Experience That Contributes To Success

  • Driven and self‑motivated – has experience in managing members of a team, and maintaining momentum behind work
  • Team player, able to work within large teams, manage junior team members and report into senior members
  • Super organised with a keen attention to detail and focus on continuously improving client service and results
  • Passionate storyteller, with a proven ability to develop media strategies and influencer plans, build compelling content ideas for clients, and identify news‑hijacking and proactive storytelling opportunities
  • Strong written skills with excellent attention to detail, particularly under pressure.
  • Excellent understanding of the media landscape, including new media channels and social‑first publishers
  • Strong publisher relationships across sport, entertainment and culture
