This role will shape the social and content strategy for a major European fashion brand, defining the strategic direction, audience approach, platform roles and cultural positioning that guides best-in-class social work. We are seeking someone with a creative, culture-first mindset who can turn brand challenges, audience insight and platform behaviour into clear strategic opportunities. You will partner closely with clients, PR specialists, influencer leads, creative teams and account teams to connect brand ambition with social opportunity, with a focus on Instagram, TikTok and YouTube. The role is primarily strategic: setting direction, developing insight-led recommendations, framing briefs and ensuring the work remains culturally relevant, platform-native and commercially meaningful.What you'll do:Develop culture-led social and content strategies that connect client objectives, audience needs, platform behaviours and brand positioning into a clear strategic direction. Lead audience, cultural and platform analysis, turning insight into strategic territories, content principles, channel roles and creative opportunities. Shape briefs for social-first creative, influencer and content work, ensuring they are rooted in insight, platform nuance and a clear strategic role for each channel. Act as a strategic partner to clients, translating complex brand and business challenges into sharp social recommendations and compelling narratives. Collaborate with creative, studio, PR, influencer and account teams to ensure ideas and activations ladder back to a consistent strategic platform. Use performance data, social listening, cultural trends and market intelligence to identify opportunities, optimise strategic direction and inform future planning. Stay close to emerging social behaviours, creator culture, platform shifts and fashion/lifestyle trends, applying this knowledge to keep client work ahead of the curve. Develop clear strategic frameworks, presentations and recommendations that inspire clients and enable internal teams to deliver with confidence. Experience that contributes to success:Strong experience in social strategy, ideally within an agency or fashion/lifestyle brand environment. A confident strategic understanding of Instagram, TikTok and YouTube, including platform behaviours, content formats, community dynamics and emerging features. Highly desirable to have experience in high-street fashion or lifestyle, with an understanding of consumer mindsets, seasonal moments and culture-led brand building. Experience working with multi market teams and delivering strategies that work with and can be adapted to cultural nuances. Proven ability to turn audience, cultural, competitive and performance insight into sharp strategic recommendations. Confidence working with PR, influencer, creative and delivery teams to ensure strategic thinking is translated into coherent social work. Excellent client-facing skills, with the ability to present thinking clearly, build trust and guide stakeholders through strategic choices. Strong analytical and storytelling skills, with the ability to make data, trends and cultural insight feel simple, useful and actionable.
