As an Influencer Strategist at Burson, you will shape influencer roles within integrated communications for a portfolio of clients. You translate client challenges into clear influencer strategies, audience frameworks, creator ecosystems, and measurement approaches. You’ll act as a trusted strategic advisor, collaborating with account teams to ensure consistency across briefs, creative development, activation, and evaluation. You join a team navigating the evolving influencer landscape to help brands make informed, impactful decisions.

Responsibilities:
- Develop insight-led influencer strategies aligned with broader communications and business objectives
- Build audience frameworks and creator ecosystems selecting influencers, experts, advocates and community voices
- Shape cross-platform influencer strategies across social, video, podcast, live and emerging channels
- Lead influencer planning, creator selection, partnership frameworks and content strategies for effective creative work
- Provide senior counsel on creator partnerships, governance, compliance, brand safety and risk management
- Build trusted client relationships through workshops, presentations and strategic discussions
- Drive organic growth and new business opportunities including pitches and proposals
- Partner with PR, creative, paid, corporate affairs and analytics teams to deliver integrated campaigns and measurable impact
Key requirements:
- Senior experience leading influencer marketing, social media in agency or client-side environments
- Contribute to best practices across influencer planning, audience strategy, governance and measurement
- Hands-on familiarity with influencer discovery, social listening, and analytics platforms (e.g., CreatorIQ, Brandwatch, Traackr)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for navigating stakeholder landscapes and articulating strategies
- Commitment to DEI and inclusive culture, championing diversity in creator representation and team talent
