We are looking for an inspirational Lecturer to take on an exciting new role within our Public/Protective Services department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lecturing on a range of Public/Protective Courses
  • Train and assess learners in the workplace and College environment
  • Promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young persons in line with College policies
  • Keep accurate records for learners’ progress in College and the workplace

Key Person Specification Requirements

  • Degree in Public/Protective Services (or equivalent)
  • Teacher trained at Level 5 (PGCE, DTLLS or CertEd) or working towards
  • GCSE Grade C (4/5) or above in English and Maths
  • Proven experience of teaching Public/Protective Services
  • Knowledge and understanding of awarding body standards and requirements
  • Understanding of equality, diversity and inclusion in work and the learning environment
  • Experience of working in further Education
  • Up-to-date occupational experience
  • Enhanced DBS Check
