We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Service Manager to join our team at Burrow Down Support Service, this role will be covering supported living services in Brixham, Paignton and Torquay. Please note this role requires travel to and from services.
This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for someone who is passionate about high-quality, person-centred care and confident supporting both staff and the registered manager in the day-to-day running of the service.
Key Responsibilities:- Supporting the Care Manager with the effective running of the service
- Leading and supervising staff to deliver high-quality care
- Ensuring care plans and risk assessments are followed and updated
- Supporting individuals with complex needs and autism in a safe, respectful way
- Maintaining compliance with CQC standards and company policies
- Participating in rota management and covering shifts when required
- Taking part in on-call duties as part of the management team
- NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
- Experience working with individuals with complex needs and autism
- Previous deputy manager experience
- Flexible, reliable, and able to work a 40-hour week across shifts
- Confident, organised, and able to lead by example
- Willing and able to participate in on-call duties
- £34,000 per annum
- Full-time contract (40 hours per week)
