Deputy Care Manager
Burrow Down Support Service
Location: TQ3 1RN

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Deputy Care Manager to join our team at Burrow Down Support Service, a small 3-bed service supporting individuals with complex needs and autism.

This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for someone who is passionate about high-quality, person-centred care and confident supporting both staff and the registered manager in the day-to-day running of the service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the Care Manager with the effective running of the service
  • Leading and supervising staff to deliver high-quality care
  • Ensuring care plans and risk assessments are followed and updated
  • Supporting individuals with complex needs and autism in a safe, respectful way
  • Maintaining compliance with CQC standards and company policies
  • Participating in rota management and covering shifts when required
  • Taking part in on-call duties as part of the management team

About You:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
  • Experience working with individuals with complex needs and autism
  • Previous senior or leadership experience within a care setting
