The governors are seeking to appoint a kind, calm and friendly person to join our vibrant and friendly school team; who will support our primary school children as a Learning Partner. This could mean the post holder may be supporting EYFS, KS1 and KS2 children. The post will begin from September 2026, and is fixed term (with potential of becoming a permanent post) 28.75 hours a week over Monday to Friday, 8:30 to 15:15 with one hour lunch break; including 5 inset days.
Burrington is a delightful four class rural primary school in the Mendip Hills. We are an inclusive Church School with a strong Christian ethos. We became part of a federation with Wrington Primary School in November 2018 and we joined Lighthouse Schools’ Partnership in January 2023. The school was awarded a ‘Expected Standard and a Strong Standard’ judgement in its most recent Ofsted (2025) and an ‘excellent’ judgement in SIAMS (2018).
