We’re looking for a Business Process Improvement Analyst to join our expanding Business Process Improvement (BPI) Team, playing a key role in driving change across our systems and processes.
About The Role
This is a hands-on position where you’ll work closely with stakeholders across the business to identify opportunities, with a focus on finance processes and projects (FP&A, Budgeting, AP, AR, Year End, electronic banking and invoicing) solving problems, and driving meaningful change. You’ll manage a pipeline of initiatives, ensuring priorities are aligned with business needs and delivering outcomes that support both operational efficiency and long-term growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver business and system improvement projects and initiatives with a specific focus on Finance processes.
- Analyse business needs, systems, and processes to identify improvement opportunities.
- Elicit, document, and manage business and system requirements.
- Map as is and to be processes and recommend practical solutions.
- Act as the link between business stakeholders and technical teams.
- Specify technical requirements and work with the technical teams to deliver solutions.
- Oversee system and user testing to ensure solutions meet business needs.
- Prepare and deliver user training.
- Support the communication, roll out, and adoption of initiatives.
Your skills and experience:
- At least 5 years' experience working as a business analyst with a strong focus on Finance operations.
- Knowledge of key finance operations processes including Year End, Month End, AP, AR, invoicing, P2P, budgeting, FP&A.
- Experience delivering projects or change initiatives of varying scale end-to-end.
- Familiar working with business systems (e.g. ERP, CRM, reporting tools).
- Proven experience analysing and improving business systems and processes.
- Skilled in requirements engineering and process mapping.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to interrogate data.
- Adept at translating business needs into clear, structured requirements for delivery teams.
- Ability to present complex information clearly to non-technical audiences.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with a strong ability to influence.
- Strong IT skills and ability to quickly learn new systems.
- BCS qualification or equivalent.
