Are you a dynamic and delivery-focused project manager ready to lead strategic change across a global engineering consultancy? AtBuro Happold, we’re looking for a talentedProject Managerto join our UK Business Improvement & Change team and help shape the future of our business.
The role can be based in either our Bath or London office, with hybrid working.
This is more than just project management. You’ll be at the heart of delivering high-impact initiatives that support our strategic goals—from system implementations and office moves to process improvements and industry accreditations. You’ll manage multiple concurrent projects, ensuring they’re scoped, scheduled, and delivered to the highest standards.
You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders, sponsors, and delivery teams to drive progress, resolve blockers, and embed consistent governance. Your insight will also help evolve our delivery framework and strengthen our culture of continuous improvement.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of strategic and business change projects
- Apply governance and assurance frameworks to ensure clarity and consistency
- Engage and align stakeholders across the business
- Identify and implement improvements to tools, templates, and processes
- Report on project progress, risks, and resource needs
- Contribute to a collaborative, delivery-minded team culture

What You Bring
- 5+ years of hands-on project or programme delivery experience
- APM, PRINCE2, MSP or equivalent qualifications
- Proven success in managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects
- Strong skills in governance, scheduling, risk, and change control
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and reporting skills
- Experience with tools like MS Project, SharePoint, Smartsheet, and Excel
- A flexible, proactive, and collaborative mindset
Desirable Extras
- Experience in the built environment or professional services
- Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies
- Knowledge of industry standards (e.g. ISO, PAS 2080, WELL)
