Buro Happold's Structures team are looking for a Contract Senior Structural Technician to join their vibrant multi-disciplinary practice. This role is suited to an individual that is looking to join our London team with previous practical experience as Structural Technician or Senior Structural Technician.
Your Next Role
- Creating Revit models of our design projects, managing the data through to drawing/detail production from Engineers sketches.
- Take responsibility for the model, drawing issues and daily housekeeping in terms of managing our deliverables.
- Responsible for ensuring delivery of production work to agreed project programmes.
- Able to develop concept ideas into buildable drawing details.
- Making sure that model and drawing production follows company standards.
- Develop your career via a supportive but proactive approach to continued learning.
Your Skills & Experience
- Computer literate in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Outlook.
- Proficient in Revit.
- Willingness to learn new skills and software.
- A minimum of 3 years industry experience operating as a Technician.
- Work experience and experience in a similar role or sector.
- A keen interest and desire to learn about building design, architecture, and structural engineering.
- GCSE and A-Levels in Maths and Science.
- An interest in computer technical drawing skills is considered an advantage.
