As part of the Analytics & Crowd Dynamics team, you will work on projects worldwide that model, analyse and advise on how people move and behave. You will help design buildings, cities and spaces such as airports, museums, theatres and stadia, putting people at the centre of decision‐making through crowd flow simulations and other methods.
Key Duties
- Work across a diverse range of sectors on high‐profile projects.
- Deliver top‐quality crowd flow and people movement consultancy to international clients and stakeholders.
- Develop static and dynamic models, prepare reports and provide findings and recommendations based on analysis and data.
- Provide day‐to‐day design and management advice to architects and clients.
- Contribute fresh, innovative ideas in group meetings and team discussions.
- Support project managers in managing client expectations, carrying out site observations and presenting project outcomes.
Qualifications
- A degree in transport, mathematics, economics, statistics, operational research, geo‐spatial analysis, physics, organisational psychology, engineering or a related subject.
- Some industry experience in modelling, data analysis or related fields.
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills and experience analysing and interpreting data sets, ideally related to movement.
- Awareness of crowd modelling packages (Legion, Pathfinder, Mass Motion, Viswalk, etc.) is helpful.
- Experience using GIS software (ArcGIS, QGIS) and visual programming (Grasshopper) is desirable.
- Strong communication skills and confidence using Microsoft Office, and beneficial experience with Adobe Creative Cloud products.
