In‑house computational expertise combined with on‑point design communication supports the full design service we offer and enables a closer collaboration with architects.

Across all grades, you will work within our UK Fire Engineering team delivering projects that range from iconic sports stadiums and entertainment venues, mega‑projects in the Middle East, advanced manufacturing and scientific research facilities, and so much more. You’ll be joining a diverse, inclusive and technically brilliant group of engineers (around 40 strong), and collaborate with a breadth of specialisms across our multidisciplinary practice. Career Pathways within the Fire Engineering Team

  • Fire Engineer (Experienced Deliverer) - Deliver fire strategies from concept through to construction stages. Prepare clear, well‑structured technical documentation for clients and stakeholders. Represent the team professionally in meetings, presentations, and design reviews.
  • Senior Fire Engineer (Experienced Deliverer & Mentor) - Lead and review fire strategies, ensuring coordinated, high‑quality technical outputs. Manage multidisciplinary project delivery, resources, and timelines. Mentor and support junior engineers, building capabilities across the team.
  • Principal Fire Engineer (Project and Technical Leader) - Lead and review fire strategies, ensuring coordinated, high‑quality technical outputs. Manage multidisciplinary project delivery, resources, and timelines. Mentor and line‑manage junior engineers, building capabilities across the team.
  • Associate Fire Engineer (Technical, Project and Commercial Leader) - Lead and review design and oversee project delivery, ensuring quality, risk management and clear communication with clients and collaborators. Plan resources, monitor financial performance, and ensure technical quality. Engage directly with clients and support work‑winning activity, bids and proposals.
