Are you ready to shape the future of talent at a globally renowned engineering consultancy? At Buro Happold, we are looking for a Senior Talent Acquisition Consultant to join our dynamic UK TA team and play a pivotal role in attracting top-tier talent to support our ambitious growth plans. The role will be based at our Edinburgh office with hybrid working.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment across the UK, partnering with Hiring Managers, HR, and TA colleagues.
  • Design innovative attraction and selection strategies with a strong focus on direct sourcing.
  • Build and maintain diverse talent pipelines for rapid access to skilled candidates.
  • Champion inclusive recruitment practices and promote our Buro Bite training.
  • Advise on permanent and contract hiring strategies aligned with business growth.
  • Write compelling job adverts and proactively source candidates via LinkedIn, social media, and more.
  • Deliver exceptional candidate experiences from first contact to offer acceptance.
  • Share market insights and recruitment data to inform strategic decisions.
  • Report quarterly on recruitment challenges, achievements, and initiatives.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Proven recruitment experience in a global engineering consultancy (Buildings, Infrastructure, Sustainability or Advisory sectors ideal).
  • A blend of agency and in-house recruitment expertise.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Creative sourcing strategies and expert use of LinkedIn and social media.
  • Knowledge of GDPR, IR35, and the contractor market.
  • A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.
