Buro Happold is looking for a Learning & Development Administrator to join our global Learning & Development (L&D) team on a 6‑month fixed‑term contract. At Buro Happold, learning is central to how we develop our people and deliver excellence for our clients.
This role plays a key part in ensuring our training and development programmes run smoothly, efficiently and with a great experience for learners across the business. As a Learning & Development Administrator, you'll provide essential operational and administrative support to the L&D team during this 6‑month assignment, help coordinate learning activity across the organisation, manage programme logistics, maintain accurate data and support timely communication with learners, enabling the team to deliver high‑quality development experiences globally.
Responsibilities- Provide day‑to‑day administrative support to the Learning & Development team.
- Schedule learning sessions, coordinate calendars and organise meetings.
- Maintain accurate learner records, attendance and event data within the Learning Management System.
- Prepare clear reports, trackers and presentations using Excel and PowerPoint.
- Create and update SharePoint pages for learning events and programmes.
- Manage participant queries and provide timely support to learners.
- Assist with monthly learning communications and engagement activity.
- Experience in an administrative, coordination or support role.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Confident managing multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
- Comfortable working with digital systems and quick to learn new tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience using an LMS, HR system or similar platform is desirable.
- Familiarity with SharePoint or similar data management tools is an advantage.
- An interest in learning, development or employee experience would be beneficial.
