Buro Happold is a global consultancy of engineers, designers and advisers committed to creating a better, more sustainable world. We’re looking for a Global ESG Coordinator to join our Global ESG Team, supporting the delivery of our Environmental Management System (EMS) and ESG reporting across the business. About The Role
As Global ESG Coordinator, you’ll provide essential coordination, data and administrative support to Buro Happold’s global ESG programme. Working as part of the Global ESG Team, you’ll help operate and continuously improve the Environmental Management System (EMS) and ESG reporting processes, supporting colleagues across regions to deliver high‑quality, compliant and meaningful ESG outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and maintain ESG and EMS documentation in line with ISO 14001 and internal quality systems
- Support the global network of Environmental Coordinators, including meetings, training and communications
- Assist with the collection, validation and reporting of global greenhouse gas emissions data
- Support production of the annual company ESG report and internal ESG communications
- Provide coordination and administrative support for global ESG projects and initiatives
- Support ESG inputs for bids, PQQs and client ESG reporting requirements
- Coordinate company‑wide surveys and audits (e.g. waste, commuter travel)
- Maintain ESG learning and development content and stay informed on relevant environmental legislation
About You
- 1–2 years’ experience in an ESG, sustainability or environmental coordination/support role
- Experience with data management, reporting and document control
- Good working knowledge of greenhouse gas emissions reporting
- Strong attention to detail, numeracy and organisational skills
