At Buro Happold, we’re evolving how our systems and data work together to support a growing, global organisation. We’re looking for an Integration Analyst to help design, build, and optimise integrations across our core business platforms. This is a hands-on technical role where you’ll combine integration development, analysis, and stakeholder engagement to deliver reliable, scalable, and secure data flows across the business.

Responsibilities

  • Integration design & development: Design, build, test, and deploy integrations using Workato (recipes, workflows, triggers, connectors); develop and maintain integrations using REST APIs, JSON, webhooks, and authentication protocols; ensure integrations are secure, scalable, and high-performing.
  • Systems integration: Deliver integrations across ERP, CRM, HRIS, and finance systems.
  • Data analysis & mapping: Analyse data models, schemas, and API documentation to support accurate data mapping and transformation.
  • Analysis & solution design: Gather and translate business requirements into technical integration specifications; produce design documentation, mapping documents, and workflow diagrams; recommend best practice integration patterns.
  • Support & optimisation: Monitor integration performance and resolve issues proactively; provide 2nd/3rd line support for integration incidents; continuously optimise integrations for performance and reliability.
  • Governance & improvement: Apply documentation, version control, and change management standards; contribute to integration governance and best practices; stay up to date with automation trends, Workato capabilities, and API standards.

About You

  • Experience building integrations using Workato or similar iPaaS platforms.
  • Strong hands-on experience with REST APIs (build, consume, troubleshoot).
  • Proficiency with JSON, webhooks, and API authentication methods.
  • Experience integrating enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, HRIS, finance).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to interpret technical documentation, schemas, and data models; experience with data mapping, transformation, and workflow logic.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Desirable: Knowledge of SQL and database concepts; exposure to SOAP APIs and XML; experience with Workato SDK or custom connectors; familiarity with Agile, SDLC, or DevOps practices; understanding of integration security best practices.
