About The Role

Shape the future of how we work. Join Buro Happold as a Business Analyst. This person can be based in our Bath, London, Leeds or Manchester office on a hybrid working model. At Buro Happold, we’re growing—and with that growth comes the opportunity to rethink, refine, and improve how we operate. We’re looking for a Business Process Improvement Analyst (ERP) to join our expanding Business Process Improvement (BPI) Team, playing a key role in driving change across our systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver business and system improvement projects and initiatives.
  • Analyse business needs, systems, and processes to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Elicit, document, and manage business and system requirements.
  • Map as‑is and to‑be processes and recommend practical solutions.
  • Act as the link between business stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Specify technical requirements and work with the technical teams to deliver solutions.
  • Oversee system and user testing to ensure solutions meet business needs.
  • Prepare and deliver user training.
  • Support the communication, roll‑out, and adoption of initiatives.

Your skills and experience

  • At least 5 years’ experience working as a business analyst.
  • Experience delivering projects or change initiatives of varying scale end‑to‑end.
  • Familiar working with business systems (e.g. ERP, CRM, reporting tools).
  • Proven experience analysing and improving business systems and processes.
  • Skilled in requirements engineering and process mapping.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, including the ability to interrogate data.
  • Adept at translating business needs into clear, structured requirements for delivery teams.
  • Ability to present complex information clearly to non‑technical audiences.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with a strong ability to influence.
  • Strong IT skills and ability to quickly learn new systems.
  • BCS qualification or equivalent.
