At Buro Happold, we’re looking for a Talent Acquisition Consultant to join our dynamic UK TA team and play a pivotal role in attracting top‑tier talent to support our ambitious growth plans. The role will be based from our Bath office with hybrid working.

About The Role

As a key member of our UK Talent Acquisition team, you’ll lead recruitment efforts across a designated business area, partnering with hiring managers and HR to deliver best‑in‑class hiring strategies. You’ll champion inclusive practices, craft compelling job adverts, and proactively source top‑tier talent to support our global growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end‑to‑end recruitment across the UK, partnering with Hiring Managers, HR, and TA colleagues
  • Design innovative attraction and selection strategies with a strong focus on direct sourcing
  • Build and maintain diverse talent pipelines for rapid access to skilled candidates
  • Champion inclusive recruitment practices and promote our Buro Bite training
  • Advise on permanent and contract hiring strategies aligned with business growth
  • Write compelling job adverts and proactively source candidates via LinkedIn, social media, and more
  • Deliver exceptional candidate experiences from first contact to offer acceptance
  • Share market insights and recruitment data to inform strategic decisions
  • Report quarterly on recruitment challenges, achievements, and initiatives

About You

  • Proven recruitment experience of 2–3 years or more; a blend of agency and in‑house recruitment expertise is desirable but not essential
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Creative sourcing strategies and expert use of LinkedIn and social media
  • Knowledge of GDPR, IR35, and the contractor market
  • A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement
  • Experience in recruiting for business support roles, finance, marketing etc. is also desirable
