We’re looking for an experienced and commercially minded Associate HR Consultant to join our BusinessOperations andGlobalDisciplines HR team. The role can be based from our Bath, London or Dubai office with hybrid working. This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys balancing strategic people initiatives with hands‑on HR advisory support.
You’ll partner with leaders and managers across the business, helping them navigate complex people challenges, drive employee engagement, support organisational change, and create an inclusive and high‑performing workplace. Working closely with the HeadofHRBusinessOperations, ChiefPeopleOfficer and wider People team, you’ll have the opportunity to influence people strategy while delivering a first‑class employee experience throughout the employee lifecycle.
What you’ll be doing
- Provide expert HR advice and guidance to managers and leaders across BusinessOperations and Global Disciplines.
- Lead and support a wide range of employee relations matters, including disciplinary, grievance, capability, absence management and flexible working cases.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition to support recruitment, onboarding and probation processes.
- Drive employee engagement, retention and wellbeing initiatives, including culture survey action planning.
- Support talent management, succession planning, performance management and employee development activities.
- Contribute to Equity, Diversity & Inclusion initiatives and help embed inclusive people practices across the business.
- Analyse people data and provide insights that support informed business decisions.
- Coach and develop managers to build confidence and capability in people management.
- Support organisational change and transformation projects as required.
What we’re looking for
You’ll be an experienced HR professional who combines strong technical HR knowledge with excellent stakeholder management skills.
Essential Experience & Skills
- Strong HR Generalist background with significant employee relations experience.
- Sound knowledge of UK employment law and its practical application.
- Experience providing HR advice and support to managers across a broad range of people matters.
- Excellent communication, influencing and relationship‑building skills.
- Ability to make balanced, pragmatic decisions in a fast‑paced environment.
- High levels of integrity, discretion and professionalism.
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Desirable Experience & Skills
- Experience within engineering, consultancy or professional services environments.
- Experience working in a global organisation.
- Mediation, coaching or facilitation skills.
- CIPD qualification (or equivalent), or working towards qualification.
- Degree‑level education.
