Key Responsibilities
- Support the preparation of monthly project and management accounts.
- Assist with annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes.
- Help monitor project performance, including revenue, costs and provisions.
- Collaborate with the Project Operations Team to support project delivery.
- Contribute to financial reporting and monthly commentary for project leadership teams.
- Support project approvals, closures, and governance processes.
- Assist with journal postings, invoicing and month-end activities.
- Liaise with regional and group finance teams to ensure consistency and accuracy.
- Produce ad-hoc analysis, reports and presentations as required.
About You
- Organised, approachable, and confident working with both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Advanced Excel skills and ability to work with financial systems.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Proactive, collaborative and able to use initiative.
- Previous experience in a similar finance role, ideally supporting management accounts and month-end processes.
Desirable
- Experience within professional services, engineering or construction sectors.
- Familiarity with systems such as Agresso or Deltek Vantagepoint.
- AAT qualification (or working towards) or equivalent experience.
