The role can be based from either our London, Bath, Leeds or Manchester offices with hybrid working.
About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Transport Modeller to work on a diverse range of projects, from strategic city-level masterplanning to development-scale transport assessments. You will play a key role in delivering innovative solutions for urban development, infrastructure planning, and sustainable mobility. Our team works on exciting projects worldwide, including:
- Expansion of the All England Lawn Tennis Club (Wimbledon)
- Mixed-use masterplan for Praderas, Chile
- King Salman Park, Riyadh, KSA
- Al Ula Regional Framework Plan, KSA
With a strong pipeline of work, we are expanding our capabilities and looking for talented professionals to join us.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and calibrate strategic transport models using VISUM and other modelling tools.
- Analyse transport data and prepare scenario forecasts to support planning decisions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on masterplanning and transport strategy projects.
- Draft clear technical reports and presentations for leading discussions with internal and external stakeholders.
- Contribute creative ideas to shape future mobility and sustainable transport solutions.
- Mentor and support junior colleagues, sharing knowledge and fostering professional development within the team.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in urban or transport planning/design, transport data analysis, and VISUM strategic simulation modelling.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex concepts clearly.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
- Innovative mindset and ability to challenge conventional thinking.
- Experience working as part of a project-based team.
Desirable Skills
- Knowledge of EMME, SIDRA, GIS and AutoCAD.
- Experience in masterplanning and integrated design strategies.
- Understanding of development planning principles.
- Exposure to international projects and flexibility to travel.
