Are you a strategic leader with a passion for driving business growth and collaboration? Buro Happold is seeking a Head of UK Markets to lead our Business Development, Bids, Marketing, and Social Value functions.

Reporting directly to the UK Markets Leader and sitting on the UK Leadership Board, this pivotal role ensures seamless integration between our market-facing teams and sector leaders to win impactful work across the UK and beyond.
Your next role
- Lead and manage the heads of Business Development, Bids, and Marketing, ensuring effective team leadership and budget oversight.
- Develop and align strategies across Business Development, Bids, and Marketing with Market, Sector, and Key Relationship Management (KRM) goals.
- Ensure teams have the right capabilities, development opportunities, and support to thrive.
- Drive collaboration and communication between work-winning teams and business development functions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve challenges in business development performance and alignment.
- Manage the Social Value lead and ensure strong internal direction in this area.
- Support international market activities with adequate Bid and Marketing resources.

- A high-performing, collaborative Business Development, Bid, and Marketing team.
- Experience providing clear strategic direction and execution aligned with market and sector goals.
- Proven ability managing client relationships and a healthy pipeline of opportunities with high conversion and win rates.
- A well-structured team with clear roles and career development pathways.
- Effective prioritisation of resources around key clients, bids, and growth areas.
