This person can be based in our Bath office on a hybrid working model. We are now looking for a Finance Project Delivery Manager to join our Global Finance team, playing a key role in delivering finance-focused projects and strengthening governance across our organisation. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who brings both strong project delivery capability and an understanding of finance processes, systems and controls.

About The Role

As a Finance Project Delivery Manager, you will take ownership of delivering a portfolio of finance-led initiatives, ensuring projects are completed efficiently, consistently and in line with organisational standards. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the end-to-end delivery of finance projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope and budget.
  • Defining project scope, plans, timelines and resource requirements aligned to business priorities.
  • Building strong relationships with stakeholders across Finance, IT and the wider business.
  • Proactively identifying and managing risks, issues and dependencies.
  • Embedding and maintaining governance frameworks and best practice across finance initiatives.
  • Monitoring compliance with internal controls, policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Producing accurate reporting, dashboards and insights for senior leadership.
  • Supporting portfolio planning, prioritisation and resource allocation.
  • Coordinating project boards, steering committees and governance forums.
  • Maintaining clear and structured project documentation to ensure transparency and audit readiness.

What We Are Looking For:

We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented individual with a strong track record in project delivery within a finance environment. You will bring:

  • Proven experience delivering projects within a finance or finance-aligned function.
  • Strong understanding of finance processes, governance and controls.
  • Experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced or complex environment.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across all levels.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively.
  • A hands-on, solutions-focused approach with high attention to detail.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with project management tools.
  • Confidence working both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Desirable experience:

  • Background in professional services, engineering or a similar environment.
  • Experience with finance systems (e.g. Unit4 or similar ERP systems).
  • Project management qualification such as PRINCE2 or PMP.
