# Associate Sustainability Consultant## Working as part of the Sustainability and Physics team, we are seeking a candidate with experience of achieving impressive sustainability and wellbeing outcomes on projects and to help develop the Manchester sustainability team.**Your next role*** Sustainability project and service support (including managing a portfolio of projects and contributing to the development of new sustainability service offers)* Project leadership and direction/mentorship of junior team members.* Production of technical guidance and analysis to influence sustainability strategies (including leading workshops to help clients define their strategic sustainability brief).* Providing written comments and producing reports and presentations with excellent visual and grammatical quality.* Working as part of multidisciplinary teams (including, but not limited to attending meetings with architects, planners, government agencies and clients as the project lead) driving and embedding the sustainability agenda within projects.* Formulating external presentations for outreach and business development purposes.* Representing our sustainability offer at business development meetings in Manchester alongside colleagues.**Your skills & experience*** Working knowledge of wellbeing and sustainable design techniques, analysis or modelling relevant to the construction industry and an understanding of relevant legislation within the UK.* Experience in undertaking and reviewing technical analysis, and the development of suitable responsive strategies.* Experience producing high quality graphical and written outputs.* Strong facilitation and team working skills and a drive to deliver outstanding results.* Sustainability assessment qualifications (e.g. BREEAM, WELL) and evidence of practical competence of their application.* Exuding passion and enthusiasm for the built environment.* Relevant Degree in Engineering or Sustainability and preferably chartered with a relevant professional institution.**What we offer you*** Hybrid working arrangements.* Attractive salary and benefits package including life assurance, income protection and private medical cover.* Car allowance (10% of basic salary)* Holiday entitlement of 25 days per annum (exclusive of bank holidays) and flexible holiday arrangements.* Generous company pension scheme.* Flexible benefits including cycle scheme, dental insurance, optical cover, travel insurance, season ticket loans, and corporate discounts* Enhanced parenthood leave policies* 3pm finish on the last Friday of the month* A strong commitment to your continuous development.
