Burnt Oak Primary School is seeking to appoint a part-time enthusiastic, positive and dedicated Teaching Assistant, who is committed to our mission of providing an outstanding education, encompassing our values of ‘Enjoy, Achieve and Succeed', to give our young learners the best start in life.

You will work in a warm, friendly and caring environment, and play an essential role in our team, in order to help our children achieve their best. As part of our team, you will be expected to teach classes across the different year groups in the school, to provide class cover, class support and pupil interventions.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have a Level 3 TA or EYFS qualification
  • Have previous experience working in a school environment
  • Be passionate and enthusiastic about supporting children’s development
  • Develop strong relationships with children, staff and other stakeholders
  • Have the ability to motivate and inspire children throughout their learning journey
  • Be able to use specialist skills/training/experience to support children’s needs
  • Be committed to the school's high standards of teaching, learning and pastoral care
  • Have strong literacy and numeracy skills
