We seek a seasoned instrument designer from a petrochemical or oil & gas background. You will be proficient in conceptual, FEED & detailed design on AutoCAD 3D.
Responsibilities include:
- Site surveys and producing both "Destruct" and "Construct" drawings for scope design, implementation and inclusion within work packs
- Creating Single Line and Schematic Diagrams
- Developing Interconnection Diagrams, Termination Diagrams, Cable block Diagrams
- Designing Lighting & Small Power Layouts, Distribution Board Schedules, Hazardous Area Layouts, Cable Schedules and Material Take Offs
Qualifications:
- HNC/HND in instrumentation engineering
- Significant UK North Sea oil and gas experience using AutoCAD and ideally AutoCAD P3D
As with any UK‑based work, applicants must be residents with zero visa restriction. The position will be based, for the majority in Aberdeen, so applicants who stay within a reasonable daily commute will be preferable.
