About the Project

The Role
We’re seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Designer to take a leading role in the design and delivery of complex water and wastewater treatment systems. You’ll collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, contribute to design strategy, and ensure high-quality, compliant electrical design outputs.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce and review detailed electrical designs for water and wastewater treatment facilities
- Develop 3D CAD models to a high standard
- Coordinate with mechanical, civil, and process engineering teams
- Ensure designs meet regulatory, safety, and client requirements
- Support project planning, design reviews, and technical decision-making
Required Qualifications & Experience
- HNC in Electrical Engineering (minimum)
- Significant experience in water or wastewater treatment design
- High proficiency in 3D CAD (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar)
- Strong understanding of UK standards and industry best practice
- Ideally located within a reasonable commute to Stockport
