About the Project

Join a major water treatment upgrade programme based at the client’s headquarters in Manchester. This is a high-profile, technically challenging project that will significantly enhance regional water and wastewater infrastructure.

The Role

We’re seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Designer to take a leading role in the design and delivery of complex water and wastewater treatment systems. You’ll collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, contribute to design strategy, and ensure high-quality, compliant electrical design outputs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce and review detailed electrical designs for water and wastewater treatment facilities
  • Develop 3D CAD models to a high standard
  • Coordinate with mechanical, civil, and process engineering teams
  • Ensure designs meet regulatory, safety, and client requirements
  • Support project planning, design reviews, and technical decision-making

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • HNC in Electrical Engineering (minimum)
  • Significant experience in water or wastewater treatment design
  • High proficiency in 3D CAD (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar)
  • Strong understanding of UK standards and industry best practice
  • Ideally located within a reasonable commute to Stockport
