Manchester Office Based. The post holder must commit to 3 days per week in the Manchester office.

Project: Uranium Enrichment Plant FEED (Building Services)

Reporting to Project Engineering Manager and/or Electrical Engineering Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assuming overall responsibility for delivery of the electrical scope, including but not limited to schedule and MDR creation, change control, project reporting, leading meetings, delegating work packages to the electrical team.
  • Supporting project estimates including CTR’s.
  • Electrical discipline technical input for projects; preparation, checking and approval of engineering documentation, including but not limited to Basis of Design, Power System Calculations, Earthing and Lightning Calculations, Equipment sizing calculations, Load Schedules, Equipment Specification and Datasheets, SLDs, Cable Schedules, Material Take Offs, BCDs, Schematics, Equipment and Cable Routing Layouts.
  • Preparing equipment and materials requisitions for HV and LV switchboards, transformers, motors, UPS systems, power factor correction, trace-heating, lighting and other electrical equipment.
  • Reviewing supplier’s quotations and preparing technical bid assessments.
  • Preparing installation scopes of work.
  • Ensuring all applicable national and international codes of practice, legislation and company/client standards and procedures are complied with.
