An opportunity has arisen for a fully skilled CNC Turner to join a family owned engineering business based in Coventry. In return, we offer a competitive salary, 20 days holiday plus statutory entitlement, Christmas shutdown & onsite parking.
Burnsall Engineering was established in 1954 and is a family owned business that specialises in high quality precision manufacturing for the automotive/aerospace sectors and mould tool making for the rubber and plastic industries.
The CNC Turner’s duties will include:
- Working alongside other turners to create required parts from 1 offs to 50 offs
- Setting & operating of lathes
- Creation of programmes from DXF &/or drawings
- Dimensional checking to ensure parts are within tolerance
- General maintenance of lathe & work area as required.
The successful applicant will preferably have the following skills and experience:
- Proven ability in turning forms that vary from within 10mm up to 200mm within 20 microns
- Fluency in Mazatrol & Fanuc control systems essential
- CAD/CAM knowledge is preferable, especially AlphaCam
- Knowledge of CMM using MCOSMOS an advantage
- Attention to detail & pride in work
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Good communication skills
- Be based in the Coventry area

The hours of work are 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Thursday 8am-4.45pm/Fridays 8am-1.45pm).
