They use a customer-oriented, data-driven approach to product development. The Role
You will guide both the technical architecture and the engineers responsible for the delivery of customer-facing applications. This means having ownership of the design and development of systems that intelligently look after the businesses existing customers based on their unique profile and needs. This involves moving beyond static rules to build scalable, adaptive systems that integrate real-time data and business logic. You will be responsible for the line management of your vertical, usually 3-5 Software Engineers.
The Requirements
- Experienced and still hands-on when it comes to software engineering - Python, TypeScript, GO or similar.
- Experience building live customer-facing products.
- You are deeply product and customer-oriented - you are curious about user behaviour and data.
- Ability to manage, mentor and grow a small group of talented engineers, and improve engineering standards across the wider organisation.
- Experience designing and building scalable, adaptive systems that integrate real-time data.
