Here at Burns Sheehan, we're exclusively partnered with a well-established, high-growth SaaS business operating a data-heavy platform used by hundreds of global brands. They're investing in their platform foundations and are looking for a Senior SRE to take ownership of reliability, infrastructure, and operational maturity across the business.
The role focuses on enabling engineering teams, improving developer experience, and putting scalable processes in place as the platform continues to grow.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Owning and evolving the cloud infrastructure across AWS and GCP
- Improving monitoring, alerting, and observability across production systems - leading incident management, on-call processes, and operational tooling
- Shaping IAM and security practices, with scope to review and improve existing approaches
- Partnering with product and engineering teams on cost awareness and reliability applying SRE principles across teams and helping set good operational standards
- Improving developer tooling and workflows, supporting and overseeing key third-party and data platform services
What Theyβre Looking For:
- Multi-Cloud experience within AWS / GCP
- Experience working as an SRE or in a reliability-focused platform role
- Software experience ideally within Python, but open to other strong engineering backgrounds
- Experience in SaaS or B2B environments
- Comfortable forming opinions on tooling and architecture and explaining trade-offs
- A collaborative engineer who can work autonomously and influence how teams operate
