Senior Mobile Engineer – Scaling FinTech – Take Ownership of the App
Up to £100,000
Hybrid working – London CC based office
React Native, React.js & TypeScript – iOS & Android
We are currently partnered with a scaling FinTech who back small businesses to succeed – their mission is to help small companies have access to the finances they need to grow and since they were founded, they have successfully lent over £10 billion.
Their platform is a game-changer within their industry and by using cutting-edge data and technology, they\’re reshaping the landscape for lending to enable lightning-fast decisions instead of lengthy applications!
As they approach another phase of growth, they are now looking to build out a new Mobile Engineering team within their London office and this is a great opportunity to join the team and have ownership of their application whilst continue to build and scale the app.
What will you be doing:
- Work closely with a cross-functional team to build great user experiences for customers
- Build and scale their app across both iOS and Android in React Native
- Be proactive in problem solving, identifying and successfully mitigating any risks, issues or control weaknesses that arise if your day-to-day
- Support on code reviews, technical discussions and team collaboration
- Implement best practice and help to mentor and coach colleagues
- Write and implement unit, integration and end-to-end tests to ensure code is well tested
What are they looking for:
- Experienced in React Native, React.js and good knowledge with TypeScript
- Mobile automated testing experience (unit, integration & end-to-end)
- Be able to demonstrate experience with continuous delivery, build pipelines and app releases (both App Store and Play Store)
- Familiarity with mobile ecosystem tooling such as Firebase
