Here at Burns Sheehan, we have exclusively partnered with a large, asset-led organisation as they look to hire a Senior Application Support Analyst to join their central Service Delivery function. This role sits across application support, business engagement, and controlled change, with a strong initial focus on Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations. While there is a 2nd and 3rd line support element, the emphasis is on end-to-end ownership, resolving complex issues properly, and working closely with Finance and Operations teams to improve how the system is used. You’ll work alongside Service Delivery, the Service Desk, and external managed service partners, acting as a senior point of contact for a business-critical ERP platform.
Core Responsibilities
- Act as the senior functional support lead for Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations
- Own complex 2nd and 3rd line incidents, including root cause analysis and permanent fixes
- Support critical business periods such as month-end and year-end
- Work with business users to understand process issues and define fixes or minor enhancements
- Own controlled configuration changes and support testing and release into production
- Provide senior support across other applications integrated with D365 F&O
- Manage day-to-day engagement with vendors and managed service providers
