We have been engaged by a rapidly scaling Agentic AI-driven SaaS business to hire a Principal Tech Team Lead (Front End) to help shape the next phase of its engineering growth. Reporting to the Director of Engineering, this is a high-impact leadership role combining technical strategy, people leadership, and hands-on engineering within a modern product-led environment. The company is entering a major growth phase following its Series B round, launching new products and scaling its engineering organisation significantly over the next 12–24 months.
You will lead a growing frontend function, managing three Front End Tech Team Leads while driving architectural consistency, engineering standards and technical direction across multiple squads. Working in cross-functional squads, there are currently 10–12 Front End Engineers and this is planned to grow to ~20 Front End Engineers and two more Tech Team Leads in the next year. This role would suit someone who enjoys operating at scale, influencing engineering strategy, mentoring technical leaders, and still spending meaningful time in a hands-on capacity.
