We’re partnered with a leading FinTech based in Manchester who are now looking for a Senior Backend Engineer as they grow a new team to help scale new products and projects.
This role will be supporting high-performing engineering teams whilst owning the end-to-end delivery of projects. You’ll be involved across the requirements and architecture through to deployment, observability and long-term reliability.
You will lead high-performing engineering teams while owning the end-to-end delivery of mission-critical software. This includes everything from requirements and architecture through to deployment, observability, and long-term reliability.
- Own the full software delivery lifecycle across design, build, test, deploy and operate.
- Drive best practices across coding standards, testing, automation and DevOps.
- Experience in mentoring and leading engineering teams building distributed systems and microservices.
- Java, Spring and scalable system architecture experience with exposure to AI development and integration.
- Good experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing and DevOps practices.
