London - 4 days a week in office (1 day flexible). Here at Burns Sheehan, we’re working with a premium London-based workspace provider with a large multi-site estate and a major technology programme running across their buildings and cloud platform. They’re looking for a Senior Network Engineer to take full solo-ownership of their network estate, covering over 60+ buildings across London (and growing). This is a hands-on senior role and will suit someone who wants genuine ownership in a complex, constantly changing environment.

The role is 80% project-based, focused on network architecture, delivery, and security improvements, with the remaining 20% covering ongoing network management and optimisation.

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Owning the full Cisco Meraki estate across 60+ London sites (end-to-end responsibility)
  • Designing and implementing improvements across a software-defined network using internet connectivity
  • Connecting buildings securely into a Microsoft Azure platform (Azure networking focus is essential)
  • Leading technical delivery across performance optimisation, resilience, and design upgrades
  • Implementing cyber security requirements, working closely with internal security teams
  • Acting as the technical escalation point and liaising with external vendors / service providers
  • Producing and maintaining network documentation, standards, and diagrams
What They’re Looking For:
  • Multi-site experience with experience owning and operating networks across the estate.
  • Hands-on expertise with Cisco Meraki (design, deployment, troubleshooting)
  • Azure, ideally Azure networking experience (VNets, NSGs, VPN Gateway, Firewall, Virtual WAN)
  • Deep knowledge of networking fundamentals: IP, routing, segmentation, VPNs / SD-WAN
  • A security-first mindset (comfortable designing solutions that meet modern cyber requirements)
  • Confident working independently as the primary technical owner in this area

If you’re interested in a role where you’ll genuinely own a complex multi-site network, lead major projects, and work closely with cyber security on modern access patterns (beyond point-to-point VPNs), drop me a message and I’ll share more.
