A high growth home services business is hiring a Head of IT & Systems to lead internal technology during a major period of growth, acquisition integration and operational change, whereby you will be building the IT function and team from scratch. This is a hands-on role with responsibility for internal IT, device management, business systems, vendor relationships and key migration projects. It would suit someone who enjoys operating in a fast-moving environment and is happy balancing day-to-day delivery with longer-term improvements.

Key responsibilities:

  • Own internal IT across a mixed Mac and Windows estate
  • Lead Google Workspace migrations and systems consolidation projects
  • Manage MSPs and third party vendors
  • Oversee identity, access, endpoint security and core SaaS systems
  • Support compliance, business continuity and disaster recovery planning
  • Help shape the future structure of the IT function as the business scales

Requirements:

  • Strong hands-on IT infrastructure or systems background
  • Experience with Mac device management and Windows environments
  • Proven Google Workspace migration experience
  • Experience managing MSPs and external suppliers
