Following rapid organic growth, they are scaling their engineering organisation and seeking an experienced Head of Front-End Engineering to establish structure, elevate standards, and develop their front-end capabilities without slowing down pace.
This Head of Front-End Engineeringrole sits above existing Team Leads, reporting directly into the VP of Engineering.
You’ll be instrumental in shaping how the function scales, bringing a blend of people leadership and team development to build a high-performing front-end engineering layer.
What you'll be doing as an Head of Front-End Engineering
- People Leadership: Develop a team of Team Leads (who each manage their own direct reports).
- Technical Direction: Set architectural vision, design standards, and best practices across a React and Type Script stack.
- Delivery & Operations: Drive engineering excellence, quality, and cadence using operational metrics to spot bottlenecks early.
- AI Integration: Champion the adoption of modern AI development tools (like Claude, Cursor, and Bugbot) across the front-end workflow.
