We're partnered with a seed-funded, regulated AI legal tech startup as they build out their Founding Engineering team. They're months from launch and building something with genuine category-defining ambition.
Regulation is being finalised, the product is near-launch ready, and they're now looking for company hire #4 and their first Senior/Lead Software Engineer to own the technical architecture of a product that will handle millions of pounds in client funds.
The systems challenge is significant: multiple integrations across telephony, email infrastructure, client portals, and AI agents, all needing to be rock solid from day one.
Backed by a team and experienced Founders with multiple exits between them, the ambition is to build a long-term category winner.
An experienced operator, you've seen software built in the right way and enjoy getting your hands dirty building out 0-1 products. You've demonstrated mastery of building AI harnesses and Agentic workflows for your coding and are likely managing an agentic team.
Experience building customer-facing applications. Happy contributing across the full stack with experience in Python, TypeScript (Next.js) and ReactJS.
