I'm hiring two Full Stack Developers / Software Developers to join the engineering team at the UK's leading lone worker safety technology business, following significant investment into their technology function. The business is the largest provider in its space, recently secured Openreach as a major customer, and has significant backing from private equity investor Summa to continue scaling its technology and product capabilities.

The Engineering Challenge

They've recently completed a greenfield rebuild of their entire platform using cloud-native technologies, spanning customer-facing applications, their alarm receiving centre and how physical IoT safety devices communicate with the platform. As a Full Stack Developer, you'll help build and evolve this across:

  • C#/.NET microservices and REST APIs
  • React + TypeScript applications
  • Event-driven architecture, messaging and asynchronous processing
  • CQRS and distributed systems
  • Azure, Docker and CI/CD
  • Reliability, observability and failure handling

This is software operating in a real-time, safety-critical environment. Reliability genuinely matters, creating interesting engineering problems around resilience, performance and how distributed services behave when things go wrong. There's also significant investment going into AI and automation, both within engineering and across the wider technology roadmap.

What They're Looking For

This is a great opportunity for a Full Stack Developer / Software Developer who enjoys working across complex systems and taking ownership from design through to production. You'll ideally bring strong C#/.NET backend experience, alongside React/TypeScript or another modern frontend framework. They're particularly interested in Software Developers who have worked with microservices, event-driven systems, messaging or distributed architectures, and who enjoy solving problems across the full stack rather than staying within one narrow layer. You'll join a growing engineering team with a substantial roadmap, strong financial backing and plenty of genuinely interesting technical problems still to solve.
