Overview

Senior Product Engineer – Burns Sheehan is partnering with a rapidly scaling AI-native SaaS company. This role is remote-first (UK) with a hybrid London office option. Up to £130,000 + equity. Tech stack includes Typescript/Node , React , GCP/AWS .

We’re looking for a developer who will design, build, and scale backend systems powering an AI-driven product and collaborate across the stack to deliver high-quality experiences for thousands of users.

Responsibilities

• Contribute across the stack (Node.js/Typescript, GCP), with a strong focus on backend systems
• Design scalable architectures and APIs to support rapid product growth
• Lead end-to-end feature development, from concept through to release
• Champion engineering best practices and bring new ideas to the table
• Collaborate closely with Product and Design teams to build seamless user experiences

What the Senior Product Engineer will bring (Qualifications)

• Strong backend development expertise with Node.js and Typescript
• Experience designing secure, scalable backend systems (authentication, data pipelines, APIs)
• Familiarity with modern cloud infrastructure (GCP or AWS)
• Ability to communicate technical ideas clearly and influence team direction
• A passion for building high-quality products that customers love
