We’re seeking an experienced Programme Lead to drive delivery of multiple high-impact data transformation initiatives across a complex enterprise landscape. This role is key to orchestrating programmes that modernise data capabilities, enable cloud adoption, and deliver long-term business value.
You’ll lead cross-functional data teams through structured change, ensuring alignment between business goals, delivery timelines, and architectural integrity.
Experience of working with technology teams and specifically data teams in driving delivery is essential.
What you’ll do:
- Own the end-to-end delivery of strategic data transformation programmes, ensuring alignment across multiple technical and business streams.
- Manage complex programme structures, including cloud migration, data platform modernisation, and data governance rollouts.
- Coordinate across data engineering, architecture, governance, and analytics teams to ensure cohesive execution.
- Deliver regular updates to executive stakeholders and maintain visibility of risk, budget, and milestones.
- Maintain oversight of architectural decisions, ensuring alignment with programme goals and scalable future-state design.
- Build trusted relationships across business units, IT leadership, and third-party partners.
- Implement governance, delivery standards, and reporting mechanisms to ensure quality and control.
What you’ll bring:
- Proven experience leading enterprise-level data or technology transformation programmes.
- Strong understanding of data platforms, cloud migration strategies (e.g., on-prem to Azure/AWS), and data governance frameworks.
- Expertise in managing cross-functional technical teams and third-party vendors within a structured programme environment.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at C-level.
- Background in data architecture or engineering is a plus, though this is a delivery-focused leadership role.
- Duration: 6 months
- Day Rate: £800–£900/day (subject to market check)
- IR35: Outside – fully capexed work
- Location: 3 days onsite in Hemel Hempstead
